- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 1/2 qt. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. canning salt
- alum
Directions

1Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil.

2Pack pickles and dill into jars.

3Add 1/2 teaspoon alum to a quart.

4Pour boiling mixture over pickles.

5Put jars on grate.
-
6Bake at 200° for 1 hour.

7Do not tighten lids until you remove from oven.

8Ready to eat when cold.
