- 2 lb. venison
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. hickory-smoke flavored salt
Directions

1Trim and discard all fat from meat.

2Cut meat into 1/4-inch strips and cut across grain.

3Mix remaining ingredients together. Stir and dissolve as much as possible.

4Add meat.

5Mix thoroughly and coat meat well.

6Let stand 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cover center of oven racks with aluminum foil.

7Arrange meat strips on oven racks.

8Dry at lowest temperature until hard (4 to 7 hours) or overnight, depending on thickness of meat.
