  • 3/4 c. finely crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 whole, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, split
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    In a shallow bowl combine cornflakes, basil, garlic powder, pepper, salt and oregano.

    Dip chicken in egg, then in crumbs.

    Place chicken on a rack in a baking pan. Drizzle with butter.

    Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
