  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 8 pieces fish
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Place margarine in a baking dish and place in preheated 375° oven.

    Watch carefully while melting margarine.

    Dip fish in beaten egg, then in meal.

    Coat well.

    Place each piece in butter, turning to coat evenly.

    Season to taste.

    Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
