Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Add all other ingredients.

3Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Can be refrigerated up to 2 weeks.

5Preheat oven to 450°.

6Salt and pepper ribs; place on rack and pour 3 cups water in pan.

7Bake 30 minutes.

8Pour out water; reduce heat to 300°.

9Brush ribs with Vera's Barbecue Sauce.

10Bake 25 minutes.

11Turn; baste with sauce and bake 20 minutes.

12Broil a few minutes on each side before serving.
