  • 2 lb. stew meat, cut up
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
  • 5 carrots, cut up
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Directions

    Coat meat with flour, salt and pepper; toss with oil in a 3-quart casserole.

    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 400°.

    Stir once.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Bake at 375° for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
