  • 2 lb. stew beef
  • 3 celery stalks, cut
  • 4 to 5 carrots, cut
  • 2 onions, cut
  • 1 box frozen peas
  • 1 can tomato juice (big can)
  • cut up potatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Layer meat, potatoes, carrots, celery and onions in pot or casserole with lid.

    Sprinkle tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper over top.

    Pour juice over all.

    Cover and cook in 250° oven for 4 hours, stirring once while cooking.

    Add frozen peas; stir and finish cooking.
