- 1 lb. lean meat in 1-inch cubes
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. tomato puree
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. any herb vinegar
- 3/4 c. red wine
- 1 1/2 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
Directions

1Combine the first 9 ingredients in a pan.

2Bring to boil on top of stove, then cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour.

3Add vegetables and bake for 30 minutes.

4Remove bay leaf.
