- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 6 to 8 quarts popped corn
- 2 sticks (1 c.) margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Place brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a 2-quart saucepan.

2Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.

3Add vanilla and soda, stirring after each addition.

4Pour syrup over popped corn and stir to cover all kernels.

5Place on 2 cookie sheets and bake in 250° oven for 45 minutes, stirring often.

6This may be stored in coffee cans or frozen in bags.
