- 6 to 8 slices bread, crusts removed
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack or Swiss cheese, grated
- 1 lb. bacon, sausage or fresh mushrooms, cooked
- 3 c. milk
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Arrange bread in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Sprinkle cheese over bread.

3Cover with meat or mushrooms (or combination). Mix eggs, milk and salt.

4Pour over all.

5Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
