Ingredients
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 7 c. flour (approximately)
Directions

1Mix first 3 ingredients and let stand 10 minutes.

2Blend remaining ingredients and mix with the liquid mixture.

3Let rise until doubled in bulk.

4Knead down and let rise a second time. Shape into rolls; cover with a cloth and let stand overnight.

5Do not refrigerate.

6Bake next morning at 350° until brown, about 15 minutes.

7Yields 36 rolls.
