- 6 c. sugar
- 2 c. light syrup
- 1 large and 1 small cans evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. creamy butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients and cook over low heat until it forms medium ball not soft or hard when tested in cold water (not ice).

2Beat until stiff.

3Add vanilla and nuts.

4Pour into deep pan until cool, then remove and put in wax paper.

5The longer it stands the better it tastes.

6Let stand at least 5 weeks before eating.

7Makes 6 pounds.
