- 4 large green peppers
- 34 lb ground beef
- 2 12 cups cooked white rice
- 13 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon salt, divided
- 23 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 34 teaspoon chili powder
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 1 cup shredded cheese, of choice
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
Directions

1Wash peppers, cut the stem off and seed them.

2In a large skillet cook hamburger.

3transfer hamburger to a bowl leaving some of the fat in the skillet.

4Add onion to skillet, saute until tender crisp.

5Transfer onion to bowl with ground beef.

6Add garlic and salt, simmer 10 minutes.

7Meanwhile, add rice breadcrumbs, cheeses, spices, and then the garlic to the bowl.

8stir well, stuff the peppers.

9place peppers upright in a casserole dish.

10Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
