  • 1 1/2 pounds oxtails
  • 1/2 package beef stew seasoning
  • 1/2 pound mixed vegetables frozen
  • 1 x water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

    Heat oil in a quart saucepan.

    Brown ox tails on all sides.

    Discard oil.

    Add 1/2 package of seasoning and enough water just to cover ox tail.

    Cook/simmer ox tail until almost tender (2-2 1/2 hours).

    Add 1/2 pound frozen mixed vegetables.
