- 3 c. milk
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 can whole kernel corn (optional)
- 1 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 pt. oysters
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green onions
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
Directions

1Heat milk and cream just to scalding in a medium size saucepan.

2Stir in corn and liquid, salt, paprika, pepper and thyme.

3Saute green onions in butter slowly.

4Then add oysters and liqueur; cook slowly for 5 minutes or just until edges of oysters start to curl.

5Stir into the scalded milk mixture.

6Heat very slowly, just to boiling.
