- 2 c. light cream or half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 pt. shucked oysters and juice
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Heat milk with cream in a medium-size saucepan over low heat until bubbles appear around edge (do not boil); stir in salt and paprika.

2Heat oysters and juice in butter in a medium-size saucepan until oyster edges begin to curl.

3Stir in scalded milk mixture.

4Ladle into soup bowls or mugs.
