  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1 pt. oysters, chopped with juice
  • 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. chopped parsley
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2 1/2 qt. soft stale bread cubes or crumbs

Directions

    Melt butter in skillet; add onion and celery.

    Cook some; then add oysters and rest of ingredients, except bread cubes or crumbs. Cook about 15 minutes.

    Add to bread.

    Mix well.

    Use as stuffing for turkey.

    Makes about 10 cups.
