Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh spinach
  • 1 pound chicken, lamb, or beef
  • 1 tsp. each, garlic and ginger paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. green chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. turmeric
  • 1-1/2 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp. coriander powder
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • Cooking oil
  • 15 fenugreek (methi) seeds
  • 4 cloves
  • 2-3 cardamoms
  • 5 broken pieces of cinnamon
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely sliced
  • 1/2-inch piece ginger, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tomato, sliced
  • Few whole green chilies
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced onion

Directions

    Marinate meat with garlic, ginger and green chili pastes, salt, cayenne, turmeric, cumin powder, and coriander powder.
