  • 1 lb of thin asparagus
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 1 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 large minced jarred garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper

Directions

    Snap asparagus stems at tough spot.

    Lay in a frying pan add 1 1/2 cups of water boil till they are crisp tender this will be till they are still green but they bend.

    Drain and return to a low simmer add butter olive oil and simmer till butter is melted add garlic and coat asparagus add sugar salt and pepper toss and serve very tasty.
