Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken or 2 small
  • 6 c. bread cubes
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 6 leaves sage, ground
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 4 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted

Directions

    Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.

    Mix dressing; it will be juicy.

    Use broth from bouillon.

    Stew chicken and pick off bones; put in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Cover with cream of chicken soup.

    Top with dressing.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
