Ingredients: 2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn; 1 c. Bisquick; 1 egg, beaten; 2 Tbsp. melted butter; 1/2 c. milk; 2 Tbsp. sugar; 1/2 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chilies, sliced; 1/2 lb. Jack cheese, thinly sliced (use generous measurement)

1 c. Bisquick
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chilies, sliced
1/2 lb. Jack cheese, thinly sliced (use generous measurement)

Directions

In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chilies and cheese.

Mix well. Turn half the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Cover with chilies, then cheese slices. Spread remaining batter over cheese.

May be mixed early in the day and refrigerated at this point. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until brown.
