  • 2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
  • 1 c. Bisquick
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chilies, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. Jack cheese, thinly sliced (use generous measurement)

Directions

    In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chilies and cheese.

    Mix well. Turn half the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish. Cover with chilies, then cheese slices. Spread remaining batter over cheese.

    May be mixed early in the day and refrigerated at this point. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes or until brown.
