  • 3 lbs frozen beef roast
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans French onion soup
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves, peeled and left whole
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 6 -8 whole peeled yellow onions

    Place all of the ingredients in a LARGE crockpot. Add enough boiling water to completely cover the roast. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
