- 6 chicken cutlets
- 1 c. currant jam
- 4 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. allspice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Place cutlets in shallow baking dish.

2In saucepan, mix all other ingredients.

3Bring to boil, reduce and simmer for 5 minutes.

4Pour sauce over chicken and bake, uncovered, at 450° for 15 minutes.

5Reduce heat to 375° and bake for 45 minutes, or until tender.

6Baste frequently.

7Serves 6.
