  • 14 cup margarine
  • 12 cup onion, diced
  • 1 12 cups Minute Rice
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder or 1 teaspoon instant Oxo
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 10 ounces mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese

Directions

    Melt margarine in saucepan.

    Saute onion and raw rice about 5 minutes, until rice is golden brown.

    Add bouillon powder, water and mushrooms.

    Bring to boil, then cover and remove from heat.

    Let stand about 5 minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

    Add parmesan and serve.
