  • 1 loaf your favorite French type, small diameter bread, sliced about 1-inch thick
  • olive oil
  • garlic, peeled and cut in two
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Toast the bread on both sides until crisp, but not golden, about 7 to 8 minutes.

    Rub the rounds with garlic; brush with oil and sprinkle with a thin layer of cheese and toast another 7 to 8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
