- 1 lb. fresh parsnips
- 1 lb. potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lb. salt pork
- cracker crumbs (2 crackers)
Directions

1Chop pork fine and put through grinder.

2Pare potatoes and parsnips; slice.

3Put one layer of pork, one layer of potatoes and one layer of parsnip.

4Repeat until all are used.

5Cover with cold water; season with pepper and salt.

6Cook 45 minutes.
