- 1 c. chili sauce (Heinz)
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 4 to 5 lb. brisket of beef
- 1/2 c. celery leaves
- 2 sliced onions
Directions

1Combine chili sauce, sugar, salt, vinegar and seasoned salt. Pour over meat.

2Cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator. (Marinate meat in Pyrex glass pan.)

3Place meat in roasting pan. Pour over marinade; cover with celery leaves and onions.

4Bake at 325° for 4 to 5 hours (1 hour per pound).

5Baste often.

6Serve in strained marinade.

7This recipe may be prepared 2 days in advance or frozen.
