Pasta Con Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pasta shells
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese (I use fresh rather than canned)
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste

Directions

    Cook shells and drain.

    Cook broccoli and drain.

    Saut mushrooms in butter.

    Mix all ingredients together and simmer over low heat.

    Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
