- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 14 cup of chardonel wine (St. James Winery Chardonel)
- 12 pint heavy cream
- 1 (1 lb) box penne pasta
- grated parmesan cheese
Directions

1Remove the sausage casings and crumble into a large frying pan.

2Cook sausage over medium heat until browned.

3Drain any excess fat from pan.

4Add onions and saute until limp.

5Add wine and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

6Add cream and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes or until thickened.

7Cook pasta according to package directions.

8Drain pasta and toss into sauce.

9Sprinkle with parmesn cheese.
