Ingredients
- 9 cups white flour
- 6 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (more if needed)
- hot oil
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients with butter.

2Slowly add liquid.

3Knead to a smooth ball and let stand 20 minutes.

4Roll out thinly on lightly floured board.

5Cut into rounds using biscuit cutter or glass.

6Place 1 generous tsp of Pastechi filling (recipe posted separately) onto rounds.

7Fold rounds in half; seal and crimp edges.

8Fry in oil until golden brown.

9Drain on paper towels.

10Serve warm and with ketchup, if desired.
