  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small can green chilies, seeded and chopped
  • 1 can cream-style corn (16 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 c. shredded mild Cheddar cheese

    Cream butter and sugar in another bowl

    and add eggs one at a time, mixing in well.

    Blend creamed mixture into flour mixture.

    Pour into greased and floured baking dish (8 x
