Pastor'S Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 2 (42 oz.) jars Prego thick spaghetti sauce
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 lb. Italian sausage links (hot or mild)
  • 3 lb. ground round, chuck or hamburger
  • 1/2 bottle Hunt's ketchup
  • 2 lb. spaghetti
  • garlic powder, onion powder and oregano to taste

Directions

    Cut onion and bell pepper to desired size; mix together in saucepan with chunks of link sausages.

    Add 1 cup water; bring to a boil until tender.

    Pour water off.

    Lightly brown ground round. Add garlic powder and onion powder.

    Let sausage simmer for 1 hour.

    Boil water for spaghetti (see directions on box).

    Add butter; drain spaghetti.

    Mix together the spaghetti, sauce and meat mixture.

    Add ketchup and oregano to taste.

    Heat at low temperature, then serve.
