  • 2 14 ounces yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup lard
  • 5 cups flour

Directions

    Mix together first six ingredients with electric mixer.

    Add 5-6 cups flour & knead well.

    Let rise in well oiled, covered bowl.

    Punch down.

    Make into loaves or rolls an let rise until double.

    Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes for small loaves.
