Pat'S Pineapple Pound Cake

  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 3/4 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. undrained pineapple, crushed

Directions

    Cream Crisco, oleo and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.

    Add flour, sifted with baking powder, small amount at a time, alternating with milk.

    Add vanilla, stir in pineapple and blend well.

    Pour batter into greased and floured tube pan.

    Place in cold oven at 325°.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours.

    Let stand in pan for 10 minutes, then remove carefully.
