  • 1-1/2 pounds large shrimp
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 4 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dry Vermouth
  • 4 shallots, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons Tabasco
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons heavy steak sauce (A-1 sauce)
  • Garnish:
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion, chopped

Directions

    Peel and devein shrimp leaving tails on. Combine oil and butter in saute pan. Add shrimp and saute until brown and golden. Remove to hot platter. Add shallots and saute until just transparent. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 2 minutes. Pour over shrimp, top with green onion, and serve.
