- 1 Green Plantain
- 1 Oil
- 1 Salt
Directions

1Peel and cut plantain in small rounds of about 1/8 in thickness

2Place plantain slices into a small amount of oil (I use medium-low) and cook both sides lightly.

3You want them semisoft on the top and bottom.

4Take the slices from the oil and smash them flat.

5I generally use some wax paper for this part to keep them from sticking to surfaces.

6Place them back into the oil and cook until light brown.

7Remove & let any oil drain on a paper towl.

8Add salt while still hot.

9If you wish, add garlic powder or other tasty spice/spice mixture.
