- 2 cups leftover mashed potatoes
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon self-rising flour
- 12 lb cooked ground beef
- oil (for frying)
Directions

1Mix potatoes with milk.

2Add flour and mix to a stiff dough, adding more milk if necessary.

3Divide mix into six portions.

4Press one portion out with your hand to make a circle.

5Fill with a spoonful of meat, fold and press edges closed so that meat filling remains inside.

6repeat with with remaining meat and potato mixture.

7Heat oil and fry cakes until lightly browned on both sides.

8Serve with bacon or a green salad.
