  • 4 cups Apples
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cups Butter, Softened

Directions

    Slice and core apples (they can be peeled or not). Place apples in an 8x8x2 pan and sprinkle with cinnamon, water, and salt.

    In a separate bowl, mix the sugar, flour, and softened butter until crumbly. Spread the mixture over the apples.

    Bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 350F.

    Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, but it's also delicious by itself.
