Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Heinz cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 c. green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 c. celery, finely chopped
  • 1 c. sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (17 oz.) can French-style green beans, drained
  • 1 (17 oz.) can white Shoe Peg corn, drained
  • 1 (17 oz.) can small peas, drained
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar chopped pimento, drained

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients in a pot.

    Bring to a boil and then cool completely.

    This makes a syrup.

    Set aside.

    Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl.

    Pour syrup over top and mix.

    Refrigerate; overnight is best.
