- 1 c. flour
- 1/3 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- sliced fresh peaches
Directions

1Blend flour, Crisco, baking powder and salt with pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal.

2Add milk and stir.

3Roll out on floured surface in rectangle form.

4Melt 1 stick butter in a 13 x 9-inch dish; set aside.

5Boil sugar and water until melted.

6Place sliced fresh peaches on crust and roll as if jelly roll.

7Slice into 16 pieces and place in dish with melted butter. Pour water and sugar mixture over sliced pieces.

8Bake at 400° for 40 minutes.

9Use with any fresh fruit.
