  • 34 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 23 cup milk
  • 4 large peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced or 16 ounces frozen peaches, thawed
  • 12 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 14 cup walnuts, chopped

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Spray a 12 to 14-inch spring form pan with oil.

    In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the butter, eggs, and sugars until light and fluffy.

    Add dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg; mix.

    Add milk; beat with mixer until well blended.

    Gently fold in peaches.

    Put batter into oiled springform pan and top with struessel mixture.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
