- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. walnuts
- 4 lb. ripe, unbruised peaches
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1To make the topping, mix the flour and sugars in a bowl.

2Cut the butter into small pieces; mix it into the flour by rubbing it into the mixture with fingertips.

3Add walnuts.

4Preheat oven to 375°.

5Cut peaches in half, peel and remove pits.

6Cut into slices.

7Mix with flour and sugar (to taste).

8Spread peaches in a 2-quart glass or ceramic ovenproof dish.

9Sprinkle topping over peaches.

10Bake until topping is brown and peaches are bubbly. You can serve with heavy cream.
