  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 2 can sliced peaches

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325F

    Rub butter into flour until it resembles corn meal.

    Gently mix in rolled oats and brown sugar.

    Drain peaches, reserving one-half cup of the juice.

    Add peaches and reserved juice to baking dish.

    Sprinkle the pinch of cloves over peaches.

    If desired you can omit the cloves.

    Lightly sprinkle the topping over fruit in dish.

    Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
