  • 4 or 5 fresh large peaches, peeled, halved and pitted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

    nuts. Bake 15 minutes in a hot oven of 425°. Reduce the heat to 325° and continue baking for another 45 minutes until the custard is done.
