- 6 c. fresh peaches, mashed
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 c. half-and-half
- 1 qt. milk
Directions

1Combine peaches with 1 cup sugar.

2Mix well.

3Set aside.

4Beat eggs with electric mixer at medium speed, until frothy.

5Gradually add 2 cups sugar to eggs.

6Beat until thick.

7Add salt, vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup milk.

8Beat, until sugar has dissolved.

9Stir in whipped cream, half-and-half, and peach mixture.

10Pour mixture into freezer cylinder of a 1-gallon ice cream maker.

11Add enough milk to fill can 2/3 full.

12Freeze according to manufacturer instructions.

13Let ripen 1 hour.
