Peach Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten well
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 gal. milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 4 c. mashed peaches
  • 3/4 c. sugar to peaches (let stand 30 minutes before using)

Directions

    Combine egg, sugar and 3 cups of 1/2 gallon of milk.

    Cook on top of stove until mixture reaches 160° or until it coats a metal spoon.

    After this cools, add remaining milk, condensed milk, vanilla, food coloring and peaches.

    Mix and freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.

    Yields 1 gallon.
