  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 cans peach halves
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Cut in butter with a pastry blender until like coarse meal.

    Spread over bottom and half up sides of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Arrange peach halves over crust and sprinkle with 1 cup sugar, mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; then pour a mixture of 1 1/2 cups milk and 2 eggs that have been blended together in a blender.

    Bake for 30 minutes longer or until custard is done.
