- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 6 large fresh peaches
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch together.

2Add water and butter; bring to a boil.

3Dice three peaches; add to the syrup.

4Simmer 5 minutes or until thick; cool.

5Slice remaining peaches into pie shell; pour the cooled peach syrup over the sliced peaches in the pie shell.

6Top with Cool Whip.
