  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie crust, unbaked
  • 3 to 4 lb. peaches, peeled and sliced into pie shell
  • 1/2 pt. heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar (to taste)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg (to taste)

Directions

    Mix together cream, flour, sugar, eggs and nutmeg.

    Pour over peaches in pie shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350°.

    Bake for 1/2 to 3/4 hour longer.

    Cool.

    Refrigerate.
