- 2 lb. ripe peaches
- 1 1/2 lb. fully ripe Italian prune plums
- 1 3/4 oz. pkg. powdered fruit pectin
- 5 1/2 c. sugar
Directions

1Peel and pit peaches; chop very fine.

2Pit plums; chop very fine.

3Mix fruits; measure 4 1/2 cups into large saucepan.

4Place saucepan of fruit over high heat.

5Add pectin.

6Stir until mixture comes to a hard boil.

7At once, stir in sugar.

8Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

9Remove from heat.

10Skim and stir for 5 minutes.

11Ladle quickly into hot scalded glasses.

12Seal at once.

13Makes ten 6-ounce glasses.
